The Black Light Engine Room Python Gallery, Middlesbrough: 24 August 2012, 7pm Live poetry from Jo Colley, Emma Whitehall, Oonah Joslin and Alison Davies, with music from Sara Dennis. Open mic slots available. Admission: £2 entry. 10pm finish. This gig has now been cancelled sadly - but will now happen on September the 7th (without moi as I will be in London!) But I'll be appearing at the Black Light in October on the 27th - hope to see you there, will add details later.

National Library Day I'm reading alongside other poets and writers at Teesside Uni Library on Sat 4th Feb. The event starts at 1pm - there are refreshments! Plus a chance to celebrate the fantastic resource of the library here - open to all, you know not just the students.

Babel at the Forum

Wolsingham Library: 8 March 2011, 10am
Jo Colley’s collection from Salt, Weeping for the Lovely Phantoms (2007), presents poems which tell the stories of the death of Sharon Tate, rural heroes, ill-fated blondes and transformations, and of love and its near relatives. Ian Horn has performed his work at Glastonbury and on BBC and Danish TV as well as at numerous European literary festivals.
